here are some elephants

Hi everyone,

As you can perhaps tell from the title of this update, I’m still struggling to recover after a month of travel across time zones (along with a nasty sinus infection I picked up along the way). 🤒 So I hope you’ll forgive me if I take one more week off from more substantive updates.

Meanwhile, I hope this photograph of Beatle elephants in Copenhagen might compensate (oh, the things one can find in archives) —

Datebook magazine, undated photo, but the magazine is from 1966. And yes, I’m with you 1000% on the plight of captive elephants. Please do not dress your elephants up in Beatles wigs — elephants should be free to do elephant things in their native habitat. But it is, nonetheless, a fairly splendid photo.
